Reservation and Cancellation Policies - Innova Recovery House Guadalajara

💳 Deposit Required

To confirm your reservation, we require a 50% deposit of the total stay.

📅 Cancellations within 30 days of booking

You may cancel and receive half of your deposit as refund.

Cancellations after 30 days of booking:

  • Your full deposit will be forfeited. We’re a boutique recovery house with only 7 rooms, and we operate at nearly full capacity year-round. Each reservation blocks a spot for another patient in need which is why we ask for your understanding when it comes to schedule changes or cancellations.
    For this reason, deposits are non-refundable after the first 30 days.

1. Force Majeure (proven medical emergencies, natural disasters):

  • Your full payment can be applied as credit toward a future stay within the next 12 months.

  1. Reservation Changes
    You can change your stay date once with at least 30 days' notice prior to your stay, subject to availability. Changes requested after the 30-day period will require a new reservation, and your deposit will be forfeited.


This policy is in place because it is impossible for us to reassign your room for another surgery with such short notice. Many of our guests book up to 2 years in advance, and our occupancy is often at full capacity.

If you wish to extend your stay, we can accommodate it at no additional cost, depending on availability.


3. Early Departure
If you decide to leave earlier than planned, 50% of the cost of the remaining days will be charged.


4. Transportation
We will pick you up from Guadalajara International Airport and take you to the recovery house, as well as back to the airport.
Transportation is available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If your flight is outside these hours, there is a $50 USD charge, or you must arrange your own transportation.
Includes transfer from the hospital to the recovery house and post-op visit transportation.
Transportation to medical appointments and therapy sessions:
Included for stays of 10 days or more.
For stays of less than 10 days, the cost is $5 USD per trip.
After 8:00 PM, transportation must be by Uber or at an additional cost of $15 USD for therapy or extra outings.


5. Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in: 12:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM
Early check-in and late check-out have an additional charge of $30 USD.


6. Meals
We provide three daily meals and snacks.
Meal schedule:
Breakfast: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Lunch: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
Dinner: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Please inform us of any dietary restrictions.
If you choose to consume foods not recommended by your doctor, you will need to sign a liability waiver.


7. Cleaning and Laundry
Rooms and common areas are kept sanitized 24/7.
Personal laundry service available once per day.


8. Visitors
To ensure tranquility and security, a maximum of one visit per day is allowed, with up to two guests between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
Additional companion: $60 USD per night.


9. Leaving the Facility During Your Stay
We recommend avoiding unnecessary outings for better recovery.
If you decide to go out, you must sign a document releasing Innova Recovery House Guadalajara and your doctor from any responsibility.

10. Medical Assistance and Therapies
24/7 nursing care and personal assistance
Lymphatic drainage: 1 daily session included. Additional session for $20 USD.
1 free ultrasound session
Healing supplies not included
Rates:
Payments by credit card or PayPal have an additional 5% fee.


If you require an invoice, the applicable VAT will be added.
